Circle of Friends of Marcelle Cahn (CAMC)

In 1980, Marcelle Cahn donated her studio collection, books, and personal archives to the Modern Art Museum of Strasbourg (now the MAMCS).

The Circle of Friends of Marcelle Cahn was founded in Strasbourg in March 2004, with the aim of actively participating in the rediscovery of the prolific work of this Strasbourg-born artist.

The CAMC has adopted a charter, “Small times, small means, small things”, and focuses on several core missions:

  • Organizing: exhibitions, lectures, screenings, visits…
  • Publishing: posters, cards, articles, brochures…
  • Supporting: fostering mutual aid through art (with approaches tailored on a case-by-case basis).
